Flowdan went live yesterday on our Beatport Instagram live takeover to review and reveal his winning tracks for the recent 'One Minute Beat Challenge'.  Huge congratulations to everyone who took part and especially our two winning entries from Lightshapers and Shvdow Banned (their Winning submissions are below).

And the Winners are...

What is the One Minute Beat Challenge?

Flowdan teamed up with Beatport Sounds in March to launch his debut vocal sample pack 'Writer Blocks', and due to the overwhelming reception of the pack Flowdan launched his 'One Minute Beat Challenge 'competition, whereby users could showcase their beat making talent and potentially win some awesome prizes by providing a one-minute beat using at least one vocal loop from the 'Writer Blocks' sample pack.  Contestants needed to submit their entries prior to Sunday, April 9th (23:59 PT).  The winners were then announced live on Wednesday, April 12th at 16:00 BST.

What are the prizes?

The winning producers Lightshapers and Shvdow Banned will receive a personalised dubplate/acapella recorded exclusively by Flowdan. In addition, they'll get a free Beatport Streaming account (1 year), a free Loopcloud account (1 year), and licenses for all Excite Audio plugins.

Shortlisted Entries

We wanted to also let you hear the full shortlist of entries reviewed in the IG Live show, with over 70 submissions in total from around the globe it was a touch task to cut this down to the 21 one played dduring the Live show.
