We know. It's been a while.
If you upgraded to an Apple Silicon Mac over the last few years and found that Drum & Play just... didn't work anymore, you weren't alone. It was the number one issue we heard from our community, and honestly, it was a long time coming to fix. Today, we're finally here with the update that enables compatability, plus a little extra to say thank you for your patience.
Here's everything that's new.
Drum & Play are now fully native on Apple Silicon. That means M1, M2, M3, M4 — all of it. No more Rosetta workarounds, no more crashes on launch, no more plugins simply refusing to show up.
VST, VST3, and AU formats are all working across Mac and PC.
If you've had Drum or Play sitting dormant on your machine because you couldn't get them running after upgrading your computer, now is the time to update. Open your plugin manager, hit update, and you're back in business.

While we were under the hood fixing Silicon compatibility, we took the opportunity to clear out a backlog of bugs, some longstanding, some introduced during the compatibility work itself.
Beyond the Silicon work, both plugins have had a proper quality-of-life pass. Stability issues, UI quirks, preset saving, and effects controls are all cleaned up, including some bugs that have been hanging around far longer than they should have. It's a smoother, more reliable experience across the board.

To mark the update, we're giving away eight packs completely free — all created specifically for Drum & Play, so they're ready to drop straight into your workflow.
Four for Drum. Four for Play. Covering everything from raw percussion and tech house grooves to delicate piano, organic strings, and deep modular textures.
We're releasing them one by one over the next month, so keep an eye on your inbox and on the Loopcloud App homepage. You won't want to miss any of them.
