What is Jamahook AI Search?

If you are newer to Loopcloud, here is the quick version. Jamahook is the AI engine behind Loopcloud's sound matching feature. Rather than searching by genre or mood tags, you right-click any loop in your library and let the algorithm find sounds that match it musically. It is one of the fastest ways to build cohesion in a project, finding loops that sit together naturally without you having to audition hundreds of files manually.

What's New in V2

Version 2 is a significant step forward in how the algorithm understands music.

The biggest improvement is in harmonic matching. The V2 engine now factors in not just the harmonic content of a loop, but the timing and position of chord changes within it. That means when you are working with something that has movement and progression, the recommendations reflect that. Two loops might share the same key, but V2 understands when and how the chords move, and finds matches that actually feel right alongside your material.

The result is recommendations that are noticeably more accurate, especially for anything with chord changes, layered harmony, or melodic movement.

Rhythmic matching has also been refined, and the overall recommendation list is cleaner and more consistent across the board.

How to Use It

Getting started is simple:

1. Right-click any Loops sample in Loopcloud

2. Open the AI search submenu

3. Choose Find harmonic matches, Find rhythmic matches, or Find similar sounds

Loopcloud will pull up a list of sounds from across the library that fit your selection. From there you can audition, preview, and drag straight into your DAW.
