Loopcloud 7.5: Here's Everything That's New
18 Jun '2026
Three separate updates, all live at the same time, all aimed at making Loopcloud a better place to make music. Here's a quick rundown of what changed and where to read more on each one.

Drum & Play: Apple Silicon Native, Finally

The plugins are back. Drum and Play have been fully updated with native Apple Silicon support, meaning M1 through M4 Macs can now run them without workarounds or crashes. Beyond the compatibility fix, both plugins went through a proper bug sweep, cleaning up stability issues, UI quirks, and preset saving problems that had been sitting there for too long. To celebrate the update, eight free packs made specifically for Drum and Play are dropping over the next month, four for each plugin.

Jamahook AI Search V2: Smarter Sound Matching

The AI search engine that powers Loopcloud's sound matching just got a major upgrade. Version 2 improves how the algorithm understands harmonic content, now factoring in the timing and position of chord changes, not just key and mood. Rhythmic matching has been refined too. The result is more accurate recommendations across the board, especially for loops with movement and progression. Right-click any sample in Loopcloud and it's ready to use.
