Modern Roots Reggae includes guitars, Rhodes, pianos, Korg MS20, Moogs and brass, along with a generous amount of live drum loops – with percussion, hats and fills to round things out. All samples have been key, tempo and info-tagged for easy reference. What I like about this pack is that it sounds “dubby”, clean, polished and super laid-back. The live drums are smokin’, the skankin’ guitar phrases and roots piano loops are all killers and stunningly performed. The keys loops are even more inspiring, containing 38 files, while the 88 dub FX provide you with magic to inject into your tracks. Overall, this is a great sample pack that is well recorded and expertly edited at the Irievibrations Studio in Vienna, Austria, using the finest analog audio equipment, rare vintage microphones and high-end audio gear.
