This reasonably-priced preset pack for Xfer Records' Serum consists of 75 techno-minded patches for said synth and 51 demonstrative MIDI files, as well as 64 audio loops made using both. The presets are the main event, of course, and they don't disappoint, conjuring a rich assortment of dark, imposing basses, sequences, plucks, chords, pads and leads. Handy macro assignments make every patch immediately manipulable, and while there are no new wavetables on which to base your own programming adventures, at just a tenner, we can't argue.
