ModeAudio delivers an incredible value in this nostalgic sample pack for modern retro music. If retrowave, synthwave and synthpop are your game, Outrun is an explosive pack that has the samples you need; 199 music loops, 86 drum samples and 123 MIDI files. 

Included sounds are top drum, percussion and tom loops, bass loops, full drum loops, electric guitar loops, synth loops and SFX loops. There are also drum hits and six sweep and explosion SFX samples included. This collection weighs in at 528 MB in download size, and is delivered in 44.1 kHz/24-bit format. 

I like all the included sounds but what appeals me the most are the 60 synth loops folder. These are imaginatively inspiring sounds that were made to drive your track into high gear. I wish there were more of them, especially the arpeggiated ones. The 21 SFX loops (textures, risers and sweeps) are designed in a way to help you transition from one section of a song to another. 

Overall, the sounds are of good quality and very inspiring. It reminds me of the soundtrack I hear when watching a John Carpenter flick. For those who are looking for a new set of synthwave loops, Outrun won’t disappoint.
