Vintage jazz licks for all you hip cats wanting to flesh out lo-fi electronica and boom bap beats with some seriously inspired musical loops. The heavy double bass recordings are a star feature here - the playing is solid and captured richly, with riffs running from simple chords to more complex grooves, making for great sample sources to chop up, or layer over drums. The beats provided in the pack are proper punchy. With heavy electronic and processed drum lines, with added grit and noise, joining some more organic and swinging sounding takes. Guitars and violins also get royally twanged and strummed. Reverb-drenched vocals shout and soar. And white noise, risers, and moody FX lines are on hand to smooth out transitions. Nice.
