Back in the day, hip-house tried (and largely failed) to unite the twin worlds of dance and rap. Genre boundaries are less stringently policed these days, and this once-maligned funky fusion of styles has always been due a fair reprisal.

Here, we get all the best bits of both worlds, brought up-to-date. There’s iconic stabs and classic warehouse synth and bass tones. 180+ chugging, shuffling, and jackin’ drums. Acid sounds and churchy organ melodies. And, essentially, some party-starting full rap vocals to give it that Doug Lazy flavour. Let it roll!
