After Midnight: Retro Pop Kits from Big Fish Audio offers up a brand-new set of retro-wave sounds with a modern touch.
Created in the style of artists such as The Weeknd, Wake The Wild, Nick Jonas, Regard, and Gashi, these 20 construction kits are the perfect way to wash your tunes with the particular kind of nostalgia that only legendary synths and retro gear can bring.
We recorded the Juno 60, CS-80, Korg Polysix, and various Nord keyboards to nail the right vibe. Then, we processed everything through outboard SLL and Neve gear while simultaneously processing via API gear and outboard compressors in parallel. This is top-quality stuff, but we didn’t stop there! We then added the warmth of analogue tape saturation to perfect this new style of retro pop and synthwave blowing up the charts. Stay up so late that you’re dancing in the past with After Midnight.
