Blind Audio Presents: Vessel Atmospheric Downtempo; an exploration into the deep processing of found sound recordings to create a dense, atmospheric, and thought-provoking mix of downtempo, ambient and electronica. 

Inside you’ll find full drum loops that are built entirely from single foley recordings, each utilizing everyday items like water and oil drips, drinks cans, toy drums, paper, and plastic. By applying resonators, white noise and envelope followers to build out the frequency ranges, these raw acoustic noises are meticulously transformed into highly unique and convincing drum hits.

Acoustic instruments and synth one-shots were deliberately recorded in noisy environments, often captured from entirely different rooms, and then effected and resequenced in the DAW to create natural yet displaced sounds. The atmospheres, textures, and effects were built by pitching, stretching, and intricately layering the audio to generate thick, immersive textures and eerie soundscapes. A creative and heavy use of reverb and distortion has been applied throughout the production process, giving the entire pack a distinctly dark and foreboding vibe.

Along with the deeply processed loops and samples, this collection also includes the raw, unprocessed found sound and foley recordings, giving you the freedom to manipulate the original source material yourself.
