Cinematic Cello from Artisan Audio is a sample pack featuring emotive cello recordings by Spanish-born, Berlin-based cellist and composer Pablo Ortega. Combining classical cello playing with pop, folk, electronic, and ambient influences, these cello samples include intimate solo cello lines, swelling ensemble textures, expressive bowing, and percussive articulations. Processed with creative effects by Pablo Ortega and Matthew Zouhar Lewis (aka Mazoulew), the recordings deliver warmth, detail, and dramatic movement for film scoring, cinematic soundtracks, trailers, ambient music, and cinematic electronica.

Playing between 70 and 130 BPM, Cinematic Cello features loops, one-shots, and expressive phrases. This collection showcases a range of playing techniques, including harmonics, staccato, pizzicato, Bartók pizzicato, bow strokes, and ricochet bowing, alongside percussive knocks and thumbs recorded directly from the cello’s body.
