Loopmasters celebrate dub and reggae genres with this massive collection of fat brass sections called Dub and Reggae Horns. This pack was the brainchild of Rob Mitchell (Abstract Orchestra) and Simon Beddoe (Submotion Orchestra), who performed and recorded all the loops, riffs, noodles and swells within, in a variety of tempos, formats and feels. Seventy-two mixed horn loops blasts with fiery confidence, along with the 35 fat baritone sax and 61 slamming trumpet loops makes this an idea accompaniment to complete your arrangements lacking horns. I love the high production values of this pack, and with 828 MB of 24-bit content, there’s a lot to choose from. Surely, the samples are heavy on the dub, dancehall and reggaeton genres, but this library is also applicable to hip hop, jungle, breaks, R&B and Dn’B. With Dub & Reggae Horns, the Jamaican-influenced sounds are well represented here. Go grab it.
