"Mad Professor - Reel to Reel Reggae Vol 2" by Loopmasters is a funky collection of sounds with personality and good vibes. It features syncopated piano typical of the genre, a clean bass that cuts neatly through the mix and a variety of percussive and drum sounds. The sounds are also frosted with encapsulating delays, echoes and reverbs that further enhance the reggae feel.

I'm no expert in this sound or field, but needed to borrow some reggae and dub elements to give the right sound and atmosphere to a remix we were working on. This pack blew me away - it's one of those loop masters classics where you could easily make an entire track from the parts provided. You can tell they've all been played and created with skill as well - these are loops and sounds from proper musicians who know their scene back to front. Good stuff.

This is one box of goodies with treats for everyone possessed by dub driven music!

Great pack of authentic reggae sounds, i was looking for a few more chops, but the loops on offer here are very well put together with a rustic sound. You can definitely add some flavour into your beats with some of these samples. If you are looking for clean samples this pack might not be for you, as the samples are very analog/dusty sounding, but in a good way!

If you're a fan of this legendary producer, as I am, you'll probably just want this to listen to and simply to learn more Dub production wizardry. It's fascinating to hear the elements in isolation. Highly educational as well as highly useful for that authentic flavour and feel. Outstanding pack. Almost a new genre - edusampling.
